One of a kind pieces!
New products are coming soon!
In the 1800’s a section of federal land, a portion being our ranch, was granted by the president at the time to become private. This became the Carbine Ranch. In 1966, our good friend, Mr. Brown, purchased a part it from The Carbine’s.
Our property was purchased in 2001 from Mr. Brown and we began working toward building a cabin. Because of our zoning, timberland preserve zoning (TPZ) , we were required to prove intensive management of the land. In 2003 the Cleveland fire swept through our ranch, leaving only a handful of larger timber. Within 5 months, we had harvested the standing dead timber and replanted 13,000 pine & fir trees (pretty intensive management in my opinion :)).
After years of red tape with the county, and the actual construction, we were able to get the final on the cabin! We are now committed to milling wood and finishing the interior. Much of our milled boards are just so pretty with the blue stain, bug holes and worm trails...so I wanted to create some little pieces to share with folks who love the beauty of natural wood.
